The kit contains all the components of the UNIMAT 1 BASIC kit, and other elements. Using the components of the kit, you can assemble a woodworking lathe, an electric jigsaw machine, a grinding machine, a manual grinding and drilling machine, a metal turning machine, a horizontal milling machine, a vertical drilling machine and a vertical milling machine. The kit can be expanded by purchasing the required modules.
On this machine with the help of a cutter held in your hands, you can perform turning of workpieces from various materials: wood, soft non-ferrous metals and plastic.
The center-to-center distance is 135 mm , the height from the bed to the centers of the workpieces is 25 mm , when necessary, it is increased to 50 mm due to the spacers installed under the tailstock, spindle and hand-arm. The machine allows you to process workpieces in the following sizes:
When processing workpieces made of plastics or metals, they are placed inside the spindle. Collets with a diameter of 0.5-6 mm are used for fastening. Such fastening allows for central drilling in the workpieces. To perform this operation, it is necessary to install a drill in the tailstock. To perform end turning of short workpieces, they are fixed on the faceplate.

The upper edge of the jigsaw is not fixed, which distinguishes it from a manual jigsaw with two fixed edges. This feature makes it particularly convenient to cut internal contours, since the workpiece just needs to be put on the file through the hole prepared in advance. In this case, you do not need to remove and fasten the end of the sawski in order to insert it into the prepared hole and pull it out after cutting. Another advantage of this jigsaw is the lack of a tension arc, which means you can cut workpieces of any size.
The jigsaw file moves with an amplitude of 4 mm , which ensures safe operation. If you accidentally touch the file, the skin due to its elasticity will move 1.5-2 mm behind the file, and, therefore, the teeth of the file will not injure it. The small amplitude of the stroke involves only the lower teeth of the saw. The dull edge can be cut off and used in the work, the blunt teeth of the same file, which will significantly increase the period of use of the same file.

It is connected to a 12 V network, which makes it safe for use by children and suitable for repairing a car in the field.

For fixing on the spindle, a tool with a shank diameter of 0.5-6 mm is used, on the table, the workpieces are fixed with clamps or a vice. When drilling, it is possible to feed the spindle using a lever.
It is used for milling various types of wood, plastics, non-ferrous soft metals and various alloys. the maximum length of movement of the workpieces is 50 mm for the X axis and 30 mm for the Y and Z axes. Cross and vertical slides have the ability to rotate to the required angle. For fastening on the spindle, tools are used in which the shank diameter is 0.5-6 mm . For workpieces attached to the table, clamps or a vice are used. A grinding disk can be mounted on the spindle.
